The Mission of the Caretakers of Soapstone Mountain is to create a legacy civic group that will conduct perpetual maintenance to the Shenipsit Forest.
Create a nature center that will provide youth groups with a resource to learn about the nature and ecology of the area.
Become a destination that encourages healthy outdoor activities and to erect a replacement observation tower that is fully accessible and designed for all to enjoy.

We will accomplish this through the support of other civic organizations, individual volunteers and businesses.
